John D. Fierek

John Fierek joined VZP in 2002 after working at the Indiana State Public Defender’s Office and serving as a Marion County Public Defender.

Mr. Fierek focuses his practice on criminal defense with a concentration on DUI/OWIs.  He represents those accused in state courts, handling both major felony crimes and misdemeanors at the trial and appellate levels. He has argued DUI issues before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court. He has also participated in National College for DUI Defense seminars conducted at Harvard Law School.

Additionally, Mr. Fierek is a Major in the Indiana Army National Guard assigned to the Trial Defense Services Command.   As Senior Defense Counsel, MAJ Fierek and his TDS team represents soldiers facing adverse administrative actions and UCMJ violations.  MAJ Fierek has completed 21 years of military service.
